Why this competition exists

There are moments that stay with us, not because they were dramatic, but because of how they made us feel. The fear. The powerlessness. The silence.

This competition creates a safe, national platform for women and girls to share experiences of being unsafe, whether in public spaces, schools, online, workplaces, or within systems that silence and minimize. When one person speaks, another realizes she is not alone. And that is how change begins.

Your story counts

Your story does not have to involve physical harm to count. Feeling unsafe can include:

  • Harassment or intimidation
  • Bullying or public shaming
  • Online harassment or threats
  • Being silenced by power or authority
  • Coercion or fear-based control

If it made you feel unsafe, your story belongs here.
