Projects

We are committed to ensuring the elimination of period poverty in Nigeria one girl at a time. Through our programs, we provide girls in indigent communities in Nigeria with access to safe, sustainable, hygienic period products.

What's so special about our reusable pads?

  • LEAK PROOF: Thanks to 2 layers of microfibre fabric (3 layers for night pads) and a waterproof outer shell, girls can enjoy a worry-free period!

  • BREATHABLE: The ultra-absorbent bamboo fabric draws moisture away from the surface to keep you dry and comfortable.

  • ODOUR-FREE: Unlike disposable sanitary pads, which can be made from up to 80% plastic, the breathable fabric used in making our pads means you can go through your day with less  risk of odours.

  • ZERO TOXIC SUBSTANCES: Our pads are made from Bamboo and Microfibre fabrics, free of harmful substances to you and the environment.

  • GREAT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT: Our reusable pads can be washed and reused for up to two years, which means less waste for the planet.

  • GREAT FOR THE POCKET AND HEALTH: Most of our recipients struggle to afford basic necessities like food, clothing and shelter; for these girls, disposable products are simply unaffordable. Our products ensure they no longer have to worry about the financial burden or the health implications of unsanitary products.

#ForEveryGirl - 28th May 2022

Little girls with dreams become women with visions!

Menstrual Hygiene Day is an annual awareness day on May 28th dedicated to highlighting the importance of good menstrual hygiene. In commitment to little girls with dreams across the country, we are donating reusable period kits to school girls in in marginalised communities across the country. Every girl deserves access to a safe and dignified period, no girl should miss out on an education because they don't have access to safe period products. No girl should endure the indignity of using unsafe and unsanitary products in managing her periods.

For this project, each girl will receive a carefully curated period kit containing the following:

  • 3 day-time reusable pads

  • 2 night-time reusable pads

  • One wet bag for carrying used products

  • Cotton panties

  • Laundry soap

  • An educational pamphlet with necessary information to ensure a safe, dignified and hygienic period

Our period kits will be distributed during hygiene drives conducted across select secondary schools in Nigeria. During the hygiene drives, support counsellors will discuss the essentials of period hygiene and how to care for our bodies and the period products.
